Welcome to the Cortical Ribbon, a collaborative effort to keep neurologic knowledge tight and fresh. The sites creators and chief editors, Lindsay and John, quickly realized that there was a paucity of reading time during their busy junior year of neurology residency. This blog was created to as an effort to highlight fundamental concepts, interesting cases and unique tid-bits of knowledge acquired during residency. The goal is to intertwine things all residents should absolutely know with things they never need to know (but may help them impress someone at a dinner party some day) in a way that is both insightful and humorous. Clinical cases, important facts and other submissions from interested brainiacs all around the world are welcomed and encouraged.
